Welcome to the home page for the Gilbert County Island Fire District! The District was formed in January 2008 to arrange for fire protection services for the residents of county islands within the Town of Gilbert municipal planning area. Currently, the Town of Gilbert Fire Department is our fire services provider.
Latest News H1N1 Information: The Town of Gilbert released some useful information regarding the H1N1 virus (H1N1 Community Notice). Property Tax Bills: By now, you should have received your 2009 property tax bill from the county. The line labeled "Gilbert County Island FD" is for the GCIFD; the amount on this line is based on the budget the board adopted for fiscal year 2009-2010 (GCIFD FY 2010 Adopted Budget).
